Base Camp for Kids in San Antonio is a 3-day experience with the 8-15 year-old in mind. Each day starts in the classroom to go over safety covering scenarios for both on and off the range. Then the kids get to take what they have learned and try shooting on the gun range and archery range. There will be a friendly shooting competition and time each day for learning a few survival and outdoor skills or a small craft to keep it fun and exciting. Camp shirt, snack and drinks are included. Base Camp lasts 2 1/2 hours and runs from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. Parents are required to fill out a safety waiver and emergency contact form for each child attending class.
Base Camp for Kids Christmas Edition is a 2-day experience with the 8-15 year-old in mind. We follow the same structure as the 3-day summer experience but we add some Holiday Magic to the mix. To make our time together extra fun and inviting, we include time for making a Christmas themed craft or gift each day. We’ll also make sure the snacks keep within the spirit of the holidays. The price of the 2-day Christmas Edition camp does not include a camp shirt.
