My husband and I highly recommend Buc and Does due to their great customer service, guidance, and expertise of the staff members. In particular, I would love to give a shout out to Bob Williams, who helped mentor my husband and myself while practicing at the shooting range, as well as answering all of our questions regarding our latest fire arm purchase from here. It’s clear to me that the owner, Rex, and his team, truly care about their customers and overall experience. We look forward to continuing to come here to “perfect our practice” as Bob says, and would recommend this place to our family and friends. Thank you, and we will definitely be back as regular’s!

Buck & Doe’s is a great place to get merchandise and classes. Don Benton the firearms instructor is very knowledgeable and an excellent instructor. Don gave me a class to get my (LTC) license to carry and did a phenomenal job. He is patient and very hands on in his training. As a female I felt extremely comfortable to ask questions and have him give me tips on how to improve. I highly recommend Don Benton for all firearms classes.

My son and I visited Buck & Does 0n July 30th and had a fantastic time. The exterior of the facility was clean and inviting. with plenty of parking. Upon entering we were greeted and directed to the proper desk for range access. The employee who inspected our firearms and ammo was extremely friendly and professional, He explained the rules of the range and directed us to the lane we would be using. Seeing we had brought in more firearms than we could easily lug to the range he provided us a rolling cart, helped load and escorted us to the lanes.

The indoor range is second to none.It was in showroom condition.Usually when we go to other ranges the brass is everywhere presenting a trip / slip hazard but not here. The range condition was very clean and well managed for safety. The shooters `bench / stations we very clean as well no old shot up targets or debris to deal with. The shooter has control of the lighting and target distance in each lane. I did not see any damaged equipment of lane that could not be used.

Restrooms were also well maintained.

We had a great afternoon at Buck & Does .We appreciated being greeted and serviced by friendly professional employees who truly understand customer service. If you have young ones and want a safe family oriented range to train on I would highly recommend Buck & Does.

Buck & Doe’s is a very nice place that can certainly scratch your latest firearms related itch. The folks there are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient with folks new to the wide world of boom-sticks. I have only visited them a few times over the past couple of years simply because I live on the exact opposite end of the San Antonio universe. However, every interaction I’ve experienced there has been nothing short of friendly and informative. These folks genuinely care about what’s in the customer’s best interests.
My next investment will have to be a larger safe to accommodate my rapidly growing collection, but I guarantee that I’ll be doing more business with Buck & Doe’s in the future.

I took a private lesson with Ron, and he was so patient, encouraging, and informative. He stressed safety throughout and ensured I felt comfortable, building my confidence and tailoring the lesson to my pace. He welcomed any questions; offered thorough, solid instruction; exuded professionalism; and made me laugh quite a bit, too. Thank you for a great lesson!

I’ll first say that I have a previous relationship with Will, Rob and Corey. My loyalty to them is the only reason I would drive from almost in Castroville to B&D’s…even though I love the place. Will has worked on my bow and also built arrows for me a couple of times. He’s always great to work with. However, I went in last Saturday with a bit of an emergency and none of my guys were there. Instead, I worked with Jonathan. Jonathan listened to my needs, spent time getting my bow fixed and set back up the way I asked him to. He was professional, kind and efficient. Just another great bow technician at B&D’s trying to get me to keep making the long drive with great customer service and attention! I guess they all deserve a raise! But seriously, when your team goes above and beyond to give the highest level of customer service, and to build relationships with customers, that’s the key to continued success. If you have a great product, but treat your customers poorly, you’ll loose 10 out of 10 times! Treat them right, and you win, even if you occasionally drop the ball!

Great Job Archery Section and B&D’s!

Nice and clean. Range is a little short (15 yds) but perfectly adequate for most. Electronic target adjustment was nice. Fully stocked gun store with accessories. -1 star because everything was way overpriced but not being from there I don’t know what their competitive environment is. Did not get to see the archery side.

I love coming here! for the range and have also taken several classes. The firearms instructors are very proficient and knowledgeable at what they do and I’ve always felt safe in the classes. I’ve also bought several guns here – the employees in the firearms department are always very friendly, helpful, and are patient when I ask a million questions. Highly recommend!
