I want to take the time to recognize RON, who works at Bucks and Does. I came there with my family and this gentlemen was flat out amazing. He helped us to zero a couple of A-R’s and perform some maintenance on a few handguns. Who does that? I mean I was going to try to figure this out from a YouTube video. Ron’s helpfulness, demeanor, knowledge, and patience is what every person needs when they go to a range or gun store. I haven’t zeroed a weapon in 30 years and I felt like I was back at basic training learning from a drill instructor who was a friend. I was considering going somewhere else to do my training and to get my LTC. Well that’s not happening. I will soon be taking the course online offered by Buc and Does since I’m not available on Saturdays. I will then be booking a session with Ron for the shooting portion of the test. That is what amazing customer service looks like. It will create its own business through satisfied customers. I have always said people don’t care how much you know until they KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE! Ron and the rest of the staff are the epitome of what excellence in the workplace is supposed to look like. I love this place. If you’re there to pick up new gear or just looking for some modern outdoor fashion, along with several of the other oddities you’ll find it right there in the merchantil. If archery happens to be one of your things they have a great selection of new Bows and all the required necessities as well the range behind the wall. Moving on over you’ll find your perfect fit in a pistol, long gun, or shotgun. Always have the ammo you need for your buys and even have a range the test out or just go in to have your Fun. Private 1:1 Shooting with Don…Amazing Experience!

I’ve shot a few times before at a range, but was interested in learning some of the basics, etc as I work towards a LTC. I scheduled a 1:1/hour session with Don, and wow did my shooting improve 100x in that short amount of time!

Atmosphere: Checkin and waivers were easy, and Antonetta(sp?) at the front was super hospitable.

We covered the basics of load/unload and I tested out a few guns. The clear steps on how to properly stand, hold the gun, and squeeze the trigger changed the game.

As a female, I’m learning for my safety and we went through scenarios and shooting that were “real-life” encounters. I appreciated the dynamic from a male point of view and made the questions, etc very relaxed.

Will definitely be back for my LTC and additional 1:1 classes. Highly recommend as I feel really confident going forward. Thanks y’all!
