BUCK & DOE'S MERCANTILE TRAINING CLASS: Compoud Bow Workshop with Jay James
This hands-on workshop led by Jay James, Bear Archery Rep & Archery Instructor, is designed to build confidence, consistency, and performance. Participants will receive guided instruction focused on proper equipment setup, shooting fundamentals, and practical techniques that can be immediately applied during practice.
Jay begins with bow setup, including personalized adjustments and tuning to ensure each student’s equipment fits and performs correctly. From there, instruction moves into the shot process and the mental approach required for repeatable, consistent shooting. Students will learn how focus, routine, and discipline contribute to accuracy and confidence.
In addition to technical instruction, the class covers effective practice strategies, helpful performance tips, and methods for implementing what’s learned into ongoing training. By the end of the session, participants will walk away with improved understanding, actionable tools for continued development, and greater confidence behind the bow.

This 2 hour course is ideal for compound bow archers ages 14 and up to include recreational archers, bowhunters, and target shooters seeking to build a stronger foundation or refine their approach.
