Came here with my girlfriend in Nov. 2024.
It was a great experience, easy, reasonably priced and beginner friendly.
I have a handful of past range trips, but it was my girlfriend’s first time shooting. Kali showed us around, walked us through the basics and went above and beyond throughout our time at Buck & Does.

My son (10 year old) and I just had a wonderful total experience, and excellent private instruction with Ron Benton. I am so thankful for Ron’s thoughtful and caring demeanor. I would highly recommend anyone with experience, or first time shooters to spend time and learn from Ron. I am so thankful for a man like him in our community.

I took the beginner’s course on 08/04/2023. The instructor, Ron, was very informative, funny, and direct. He let us get comfortable with a 22 handgun in the classroom before taking us to the range. We could only shoot ten rounds, which I felt was not enough to get comfortable shooting on my own. The staff are helpful, the indoor range is excellent, and the store has something for everyone.

Nice and clean. Range is a little short (15 yds) but perfectly adequate for most. Electronic target adjustment was nice. Fully stocked gun store with accessories. -1 star because everything was way overpriced but not being from there I don’t know what their competitive environment is. Did not get to see the archery side.

Really excellent experience. Went for LTC hands on test. Ron was the instructor. Very friendly and helpful. After the test we told eachother war stories for a little while. Enjoyed that a lot. It was like talking to an old friend.
Did some shopping and everyone behind the counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful with lots of information and advice on products. Same experience with the girls at checkout. No doubt I will be back soon.

This by far is the BEST gun store and outdoor place I have ever visited. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I met the owners who were the most kindest, down to earth folks you could ever meet. All the employees were happy and great energy levels through out the store. Gun prices were right on along with ammo. Nothing but great things to say about this store and they have earned a customer for life. Thank you Buck and Does Mercantile for running such a great establishment!!!!!

It was my first time (as a European) on a shooting range. Needed help with everything as I didn’t know anything about firearms.
The registration was very easy. Enter your own data on the tablet, enter your ID, and that’s it.
Then which weapon to choose? Basically any weapon was allowed for me.
The first time I shot was with a machine gun and then with a pistol.
The employees on site were very patient with me and explained everything to me and then helped me at the shooting range for 5 minutes until I understood it. My wife was able to film and take photographs at any time.
If you’re a non-American and want to shoot for the first time, you’re in good hands here.
In the end we paid around $120, without a tip 😉

Signed up for a beginner archery class after plucking a few strings at a renaissance fair. Mr. Attila was a great instructor…I found recurve shooting fascinating. Went back same week to make my first ever bow purchase, unfortunately a bow to meet my needs wasn’t on the shelf. Luckily Mr. Attila found what I needed and called me back in same day to pick up what I needed to get started! The customer service here was incredible, from signing up for a class in person to purchasing and setting up a recurve. It really solidified that I wouldn’t need to shop anywhere else for my future archery needs! In addition, I’m looking forward to signing up for private instruction in the near future.

I attended a hand gun class this past Saturday at Buck and Does called Real World Proficiency, and the instructor was Jeremy Mancos. I would highly recommend this class along with Jeremy! We learned how to shoot at multiple targets, moving targets and everything in between. After just a couple of hours, I can say that I’m now better prepared, in case I find myself needing to defend myself. Thanks again.
