Buck & Doe’s has a limited number of individual and family lifetime memberships.
Do I need to be a member of Buck & Doe’s gun range to purchase or rent a gun?
Buck & Doe’s is open to the public, but don’t forget that becoming a member will give you access to exclusive member benefits.
Can I take a firearms class at Buck & Doe’s?
Yes, we offer firearm classes! You can register for a class here on our website, at our store, or by phone at (830) 980-3637.
I haven’t shot in a while; can someone give me a refresher lesson?
Yes, if you need a quick refresher, our instructors can review the basics with you, or you can take a lesson for $60 an hour.
Do you do special orders?
If we don’t have the firearm you are looking for, we are always happy to special order it for you. In most cases, we can have it in our store by the next business day.
Can I trade-in my firearms towards a new purchase?
Buck & Doe’s does not accept trade-ins. Instead, we offer a consignment program that allows you to sell your gun in our store for a fee when it sells. The new owner is vetted with a background check as per Federal law.
What are your consignment policies?
We help you price and sell your firearm. When it sells, we charge a 15% fee. You can lower the price or cancel at any time. A background check is required before returning your gun.
Can I purchase a firearm for my spouse?
Technically, yes, but you cannot take the gun with you. We sell you a gift card for the amount, and your spouse must come in and complete ATF Form 4473 to purchase.
I’ve never purchased a firearm before. Can someone help me decide what type of gun I should buy?
Our staff is happy to help. You can try firearms in our rental fleet to decide. We aim to make your first purchase enjoyable.
Am I able to try out a gun before I buy it?
Yes, if we have the gun you are considering in our rental fleet.
Do you sell concealed carry accessories?
Yes, we carry holsters, handbags, and clothing to carry in style.
Can I get my hunting license at Buck & Doe’s?
Yes, we sell hunting licenses at our store.
Do you offer firearm transfer services?
Yes, we provide inbound transfer services for $50 per firearm. Certain conditions must be met.
