Our archery experts at our archery pro shop can assist you to:

Determine let-off – Let-off is the difference between the maximum weight required to pull the bow to full draw and how much weight you hold at full draw. This is an often-overlooked area that makes a difference in comfort and accuracy by being able to hold steady on a target.
Determine your dominant eye – should you be shooting left or right-handed?
Determine your draw length – Knowing your draw length will ultimately determine your match to a proper draw-length bow. Keep in mind that using a release aid can add ½ to 1 inch to your draw length.
Determine an anchor point that works for you. Consistency is the key to success.
Determine your draw weight – It’s important to pick a weight that you can draw comfortably under less-than-ideal conditions.

Nice and clean. Range is a little short (15 yds) but perfectly adequate for most. Electronic target adjustment was nice. Fully stocked gun store with accessories. -1 star because everything was way overpriced but not being from there I don’t know what their competitive environment is. Did not get to see the archery side.

If archery happens to be one of your things they have a great selection of new Bows and all the required necessities as well the range behind the wall. I’ll first say that I have a previous relationship with Will, Rob and Corey. My loyalty to them is the only reason I would drive from almost in Castroville to B&D’s…even though I love the place. Will has worked on my bow and also built arrows for me a couple of times. He’s always great to work with. However, I went in last Saturday with a bit of an emergency and none of my guys were there. Instead, I worked with Jonathan. Jonathan listened to my needs, spent time getting my bow fixed and set back up the way I asked him to. He was professional, kind and efficient. Just another great bow technician at B&D’s trying to get me to keep making the long drive with great customer service and attention! I guess they all deserve a raise! But seriously, when your team goes above and beyond to give the highest level of customer service, and to build relationships with customers, that’s the key to continued success. If you have a great product, but treat your customers poorly, you’ll loose 10 out of 10 times! Treat them right, and you win, even if you occasionally drop the ball!

Can’t say enough about this place. Entire staff friendly and inviting. I’ve been shooting since a kid both for enjoyment/proficiency and work wise at one point in time. With that said, I still learn things every time I go I’ve never known from all of the staff as they come with their own backgrounds and specialties. Don’t be scared off if new to this world as very inviting and will never make you feel uncomfortable and bad for coming to learn. Both of my daughters greatly went from never shooting a long bow and arrow to 20 yard proficiency with proper instruction at their indoor archery range. It’s great being members on top of everything else as their showcase events they put on are fantastic with all the top vendors and high dollar giveaways. Membership also allows us access to the shooting/archery ranges whenever we like along with the members lounge. On top of everything I’ve listed and beyond (or this review will go on forever), first and foremost is safety. They make sure rules are followed for everyone’s sake so don’t hesitate on if any concern. Thanks for being the best in the area!
