What is our Open Carry Holsters Course?
Our Intro to Open Carry Holsters training course will introduce you to the proper use of your open carry holster. During this class, you will learn the proper steps to safely draw from an open carry holster. We will master techniques of how to draw and re-holster efficiently and safely. You will learn about the different types of holsters and the pros and cons of each type.
This class is a combination of demonstration and hands-on shooting in our indoor shooting range here in San Antonio. After covering range safety, proper grip, stance, and sight picture, we will address the dangers and potential hazards of improper carrying and re-holstering. We will not allow cross draw or shoulder holster draw in this class due to the dangers and risks to others.
This class is appropriate for intermediate to advanced shooters. Topics covered in this course are not intended for beginners.
